Same perch -different bird
Nuthatch
The first of the Autumn (feels like it tonight anyway )
You’ve already seen this perch once today with Kieth Mitchell’s Woodpeckers on.
Through the room window (double glazed) at my feeding station in the garden. Just getting things going again with suet and crumble mix.
I,ve had it (the perch ) for about 6 years I reckon, and its as hard as nails and along with the window must be the most popular in Worcestershire.
D200 Sigma 100-300mm
250 th @f8 Afternoon sun a bit strong.
Crop from horizontal
400 ISO
Bean bag on a flower vase !!

A great pose John love the perch and did you say you took it through the window because its a great image if you did some good detail

Karen
Yes its an old house but the window is an addition, About 2 footsquare. Double glazed.
The single old windows are a pain with a lot of distortion.

Classic nuthatch pose and as usual, very well done.
Mind you,I feel sorry for the local birds if they decide to try and enlarge any of your bait holes.
With the perch being 'as hard as nails'.
