Hi everyone. I've recently been on a Bird Of Prey Workshop and very enjoyable it was too. Many thanks to everyone I met on the day. Here is an image from the day. A beautifull 14 week old Perigrine Falcon in amongst some purple heather. All C&C's most welcome.
Regards,
Paul.

Hello Paul
This is a lovely image, with a nice foreground and backgorund, thats the beauty of working with a 500mm at F4. As long as the eye is sharp thats all that matters in my opinion. This image just wants lighting a touch just to bring out that colour in the heather.

That looks superb to me. I quite like my images a touch on the dark side as it seems to make the colours richer. Adding light would certainly boost the heather, but I rather like that it adds to the shot, but doesn't intrude too much. There are some lovely tones in the face especially around the beak which looks like its made of steel. I really like this one. eric

Super image Paul.I think I might lighten the heather too and maybe try and remove that light line that crosses the leg.Great location and super sharp bird.

Hi Paul,
That's a very nice image of the Eyass. Stunning dark features, do you or Danny know if it's a Peale's Peregrine??

Rob

Thanks for the comments all. As has been suggested by Danny and Phil here is a repost with a touch of lightening done in levels. See what you think!?
