With apologies to Michael his thread gave me such an intense feeling of Deja Vu I had to share an image that had to have been taken from the same spot with a 300mm telephoto Olympus Iso 100 f11 1/150. Only difference was I got the full moon in my image. It's interesting to me to compare two different photographer's take on the same subject. In no way am I trying to steal Michael's thunder I'd like to see more images from his trip.
I wish I had this shot with me years ago when I tried to climb this thing, The detail is incredible and would have been very useful for finding a route. Perhaps I would have summitted.
Paul,
This is a fantastic shot. The moon and intense blue sky just set off the white granite of Lone Pine Peak. I love it! I think we must have been at close to the same location when we each captured our images. Well done. Best Regards.
