Morning, thanks for all the comments on my previous post .
I've been visiting a local reserve a lot this year and seeing how it changes throughout the year. It is a local medieval quarry site and has many wonderful blooms of wild flowers from April through to July. I have found it quite interesting and productive as its only about 20 minutes from where I live...a different approach to visiting reserves further a field...and improving my carbon footprint? C&C appreciated.
Hi Ian,lovely shot,I only seem to get them on scruffy background or old twig but to get two on nice background and nice perch......envious

Hi Ian this does not quite work for me, good pose, nice sharpness but would have liked to seen a bit more light on the actual butterflies themselves i feel it would have balanced up the brighter flowers, sorry about that

Excellent as posted Ian, the faint traces of light coming through the wings is very nice.
