I know I'm not the only person around here that already has fall on the brain. Work approved my vacation today! Here's a shot I took last year on Wilson Mesa. D300, Sigma 10-20.

I've always enjoyed these perspectives, and this one is no exception.
The tree trunks in shadow and nice clouds make this one a winner in my book.

What John said ... the clouds sets this image apart for me.

I like this a lot! If I could make one change it would be to lighten up the golden leaves while leaving everything else alone.

It's a common comp we all shoot, but what I like about yours are the clouds and the density of trees and leaves. Very nicely done.

Thanks for the comments guys. I know it's a fairly cliche shot, but it's one I enjoy. Here's hoping we all get great color and weather this year. I'm excited already.

Great shot, but I'd rather keep summer around here for another 10-20 months or so if I could.

I always love these type of shots, well done.
