Canon 1dIII 700mm f6.3 1/200 iso640 Full frame From car.
Hope I'm not boring you with my family photos!
Took this one with the camera resting on the passenger seat and the door open. I was sitting on the drivers seat contorting myself into a most unflattering position to get my eye to the viewfinder!
At one point the wind slammed the door shut. Sighing, I pushed opened the door again, expecting to see the back-end of a hare disappearing into the distance...But it was still there, cleaning itself without a care in the world! Clearly he's used to my clumsy attempts at stealth!
Another lovely pose you've captured here Simon.
They should make collapsible hides in the shape of cars cos most wildlife don't seem to mind being close to one
Well done.
Geoff.

A very good series and it sounds like your attempts at stealth are on a par with mine
Hi Simon,
So far the series has been excellent and this one is no different, just like JR I'm envious too.
Andy...

Funny how they sometimes run miles away at the slightest thing that doesn't look right and then other times, they are happy to sit and just watch you.
