Brown Hare
1D Mk iv, 600mm f4 x1.4, 1/500s, f7.1, iso 1000

Inspired by the many stunning images of hares on this forum, I went looking for some. Had no luck in getting one in the open, but I liked this one against the wheat field in which most of them seem to take refuge. Processed on laptop, just calibrated so interested to hear your thoughts on this.

It is a great pose, Ian, but it looks to me as though it has got a slight colour cast and maybe could also do with a tad more contrast. However, that may be more down to my uncalibrated works monitor than your laptop!

I always struggle with Hares and never seem to be able to get that close to them, so congrats on the capture Ian. Love the pose and the furry tummy.

Different to the normal hare shot - I really like this. Could maybe do with a little boost in the darks perhaps?
