Little Slice of Paradise
I have been working out of town and pretty close to this sweet little landscape. I hiked down into the area and found it very pristine with no trails or footprints all over the place. Mule deer seem to be here more than people. C&C welcome and thanks for looking!

#6 Here's a B&W version of the first one. This one seems a little more foreboding.

no mas.

Great shots with high surprise value-#1 is fantastic and #4 really took me back...the undulating ridge line reminded me of "claymation" frozen in time.

I love the sidelit green shrubs! As Art says, there is great surprise value in these. I love the cool and warm tones in #1 especially. The color version is definitely the way to go on this one. I see why you like this place.

Incredible stuff, Jeff! I think #1 looks just as foreboding as its b&w counterpart. I also like the side- or backlit greenery.

Sweet, Jeff! 1-3 are awesome! #4 looks a bit blurry.

That is one crazy cool area! And your shots are all great. Love the different colors and shapes.

Beautiful area Jeff, and you captured it well. The colors in #1 are amazing.

That is a sweet area. I have a hard time choosing between #1 and $6, but I'm leaning towards the color version.

"Great shots with high surprise value..'
Never heard this description for a photograph before, but it's quite appropriate here! I really enjoy the shapes and colors you captured here (..wherever 'here' is). The sidelit vegetation in all, and those lit hoodoos in #3 are terrific!
You're right...the b&w version of #1 is much more foreboding than the color version, although the color version is striking in its own right.
Mighty fine series you captured, Jeff! It's real nice to see different places here.

Fabulous series, Jeff. 1 and 6 are my favorites, but I don't have a preference toward either one. I'd love to see them in print.

Beautiful light and I love the splash of sunlight on the yellow plants, well done :toast:

Looks like a very interesting area- like a maze one could get lost in while walking through.
Preference to #1 with its colors and vibrant greenery.
Did you try the spires in #3 in a vertical comp?

Great series! I like them all, especially #6.

I like the light and colors in #1.
