Garden Spider
Found this in heather just finishing wrapping up the fly.
Difficult shot . Almost straight into the sun.
Took about 9 attempts at stacking but it kept twitching one leg.
Only one set anything like.

Some fine work here John, you clearly have more patience than I do
Well done.

Thanks both. This DOF thing is frightening. At the disance I was - 10 CM (approx) you have 1.0 mm DOF @f16 ! Not much is it !
Well captured & bravo on your patience with the stacking work.

Patience is a virtue, aspired to by the many but achieved by the few, some of whom practice focus stacking. Can't wait to try some 3D stacking hopefully next month. An excellent shot, John Not seen any large examples of these in my garden so far this year.

You are getting quite the hang of stacking images John!
Not sure about the square crop but tons of detail in this from your stacking.

May be I should spent some time with practizing stacking pictures. Never done that before.
Good looking image John, the BG is nice and you have good depth throughout the shot.
