Need a new monitor

My old monitor is beginning to fail. I'm looking for a new monitor for less than $500 to get me through another year before I upgrade my entire computer system. I was reading about the Planar PX2710MW 27-Inch LCD Monitor. It sounded pretty narn good, especially for $300. Does anyone have any experience with this monitor? :wavey:

Best monitor on the market for the money. Nec P221-BK. One sits next to my Nec 2690 and is calibrated to match perfectly.

I have the NEC Multisync 221W-BK Wayne mentions. It was a bargain!
