Fishing Bat
Another picture from my night activities, I hope next time he is faceing my way, all the same still an interesting shot showing how Daubenton's Bats use there large back feet to take the prey off the surface of the water.

Stupendous! Is this a pond/pool Dale? Depending on the size, you can generally control their flight paths using pegs & ropes. This was the technique I used when I photograph bats in the desert waterhole earlier this year. Really hope you get your frontal shot soon.

Regards,

Des

Remarkable shot Dale. The feet are a fascinating detail, but I like it anyway.
Thanks for your advice btw - I bought that body and it's everything you said it would be. Cheers.

Fantastic work Dale, pity it is facing the wrong but I am sure you will get lucky eventually. I`d be interested to see the technical details on your posts. Andrew
