Due to necessary time-consuming activities, I hardly touched my camera during the summer holidays. So here's a picture from some time ago. A Roe Deer in early-morning mist. Comments and critiques are welcome and most appreciated.
Nikon D80 @ 500 mm, iso 200, F 4.5, 1/125 sec. on a tripod.
The first words that came into my head when opening this image was "Oh wow!"
I love the misty setting and the cool tones of the top half of the image really accentuate that early morning feel. The pano crop and the minimal elements within the frame work great too.

I like this, it's a mixture of a landscape and a wildlife photo and it works very well.
Goes to show that it's not always necessary to fill the frame with the subject
Well done.
Geoff.

Thats a very affective shot Sandra, the simple composition works well and as already mentioned, the shot has loads of atmosphere.

Sandra, I really like this image and the pano format works extremely well here. You might want to have a look at Tom Mangelsen's book "The Natural World", which just contains pano format nature pics, for further inspiration. Andrew
