A couple of Glacier Gorge images
Sorry for my lack of participation this summer. Kinda lost the photomojo. I'm trying to get it back. Here are a couple from last weekend looking into Glacier Gorge. As always, all comments and critiques are appreciated.

Well, it took you all of one morning to get your photomojo back. That just ain't fair. Both are great images. Very dramatic and majestic. The clouds and color in the first one are fantastic!

Both are sweet. The gradation of color from red to blue and the swirling red clouds are great!! BTW the llc goes to black but the lrc doesn't in the first image.

Both are nice, but that second one is AWESOME!

These are stunning...not sure which one I favor since they're both excellent. I'd say your photomojo is back!

Awesome, that second is incredible!

I agree. The second carries the impact.

I think you done got it back...if you ever lost it in the first place!
While I agree that the second has more 'Wow!' impact, the first is nicely composed and exposed, with a fine touch of color in the sky.

Liked both of them - first one looks like the mountain top is on fire.

I agree with TC--the 2d one rocks! Veyr nice color in #1 too, although im thinking 3-400 mm and this could have been killer

Thanks for the comments, folks.
Stan, I'm also wishing I'd shot the first image with the comp from the 2nd. I need to be quicker swapping lenses!
Art, thanks for pointing out that gradient. I didn't even notice it.

Amazing light in the first one, but the second is more dramatic. Very nice!

The color and light in the first one is stellar!
