Here's a few leaves somewhere up Bishop Creek.

The trunks on the aspens aren't all straight they appear to be dancing to some nature tune. Also you found a wind sheltered spot and filtered light, very nice and certainly an image to get the 'Fall color" junkies juices flowing.

Steve,
If this doesn't capture a typical Eastern Sierra aspen scene, I don't know what else would.
A little scattered, but holds up pretty well. Just classic though.
Still can't wait though. Hope I can make it over this year.
Steve,
Very nice shot. You're getting us all in the mood for fall colors. Hopefully the wind will be a little kinder to us this year. Thanks for sharing. BTW, how did your north coast trip go? Best Regards.

Michael, thanks. I forgot all about the wind and how it changes things when you're out there.
The trip up north was nice, mostly cloudy but the sun did pop out a few times. It was an adventure and experience I will never forget. I hope to share some pictures here.

I agree with Lon, it does hold together nicely. The color is excellent.
I am ready for fall!

I slid the jpeg compression slider down to 3 on this one.
