Red Grouse
I came across this image in my RAW files the other day, and decided to process.

Taken in Feb on the Yorkshire Moors. I wonder what it was saying to the big bit of glass pointing at it....

Lovely expression
Would make a good magazine cover with all that space at the top.
Well done.

Geoff.

Probably telling you to stand back a bit to get a less tight shot of him.....

All very good, but too tight in the frame for my taste :toast:

Yes a great expression captured Graham. He is a little tight in the frame as mentioned and He's got to be a sitting duck as he looks as though he could struggle to get off the ground.

Hello Graham

Nice light and great pose but for me the comp is all wrong. Great birds though.

cheers guys - comments appreciated as always.

I went for a portrait crop to emphasize her expression and because she was looking straight at me - there is space on the original, not much, but there is some - I guess I also wanted to get away from a landscape view, as I've loads of those already

Looking again, I can see more space is prob needed.

 Priceless expression! Does need more room all round though to take it to the next level - the curse of the prime lens!

Timing is spot on but agree a landscape format with more space would emphasise the head and that wonderful expression.

Nice expression, but would like more room round it too.
