Extreme stacking.
I first posted this a couple of years ago. Took me ages to do but I liked it and no dandelion seed was harmed in the process.

David

I did not see the first post of this, but now you have posted it again I have seen it and I am pleased you reposted it.

I have started to do a bit of image stacking myself and have achieved some results I am pleased with. But I would be very happy to get some like this. A lovely image that sits very well in the frame, Well Done.

Thanks Nigel. I was pushing the bounderies of focus stacking at the time and was quite satisfied with this image. I might give it a go again when I get my 3D set up working.
It would be nice to see one of your stacked images as your first posting. Some excellent images on your web site. :wavey:

Nice concept . The diagonal works well , a little blown along the stem?

The lightness of the Dandelion contrasts well with the dark background. Reminds me somehow of a firework. Minor nit re blown hightlights on the stem. :toast:

The detail of the seeds works well against that dark background but the highlights on the stem do draw the eye slightly

really cool image, not sure i understand what you have done, is this images stacked over time as the dandelion was blown, can't understand how you would have done that though, but the seeds look suspended, anyway great image however

Very nicely composed David and the black background certainly suits this image very well.
