I'm looking for a partner(s) for a backpacking/photo trip into the Enchantments this Fall. I'm flying in from San Diego on Monday 10/11. I don't have a permit, but hope to secure one of the five walk-ins that they have available.
Last Fall, I attempted to get into the Enchantments but was stopped just sort of Viviane Lake due to bad conditions and inadequate gear.

Hi Jason,
I didn't make it last year either - bad knee and then bad weather. Had a permit for an early August trip this year but had to cancel. Going to try again last week of September or first of October on the walk-in lottery. Your trip is a little late for me or I'd join you.
