Linc's Wildlife Trust are concerned that the amount of people present on Donna Nook sand bars is having a detrimental effect on the survival rates of pups born there.
Whilst this 'survival rate' issue is untested there is apparently a reasonable amount of evidence supporting it.
Therefore, adding to the numbers of photographers out on the bars by holding a 'gathering' there could be detrimental to the animals welfare. The animals welfare must come first. We will give the December gathering a complete rethink.

Hi Tom,
Just a thought that popped into my head, how about finding a Starling roost ?? Can be very impressive and probably not something everybody has seen, could do something during the day, then the roost at dusk.
