Looks like Cruise West is out of business. Hugh Rose has some great tours but they are not offered as frequently and don't fit my 2011 schedule. Any of you Alaska folks have any ideas for me on a multi day cruise on Prince William Sound ??
I don't know who, but I have to imagine that some of the charter boats in individual ports offer such cruises. I say that, because here in Kodiak there are several doing day trips that also offer overnight/multi-day excursions around the island, to Shuyak Island and across the Shelikof Strait to the Alaska Peninsula and Katmai coast. It only seems reasonable that someone in Seward, Whittier, Valdez or Cordova would do the same. Check the CC websites for those towns for links to local operators' sites.

I offered 5 photo tours this past year and they all sold out except my PWS offering which for some reason didn't generate any interest. It might in part because Patrick and Hugh offer such a nice tour, and are two great guys.
That said, I haven't narrowed down the dates yet, but will be offering the PWS tour again next year. You can read more about it here: http://www.wildnatureimages.com/Photo-Tours/Prince-William-Sound-Photo-Tour.htm I will also be offering a 3 day boat based trip into Kenai Fjords National Park again next year - this area is equally as amazing as PWS.
