Very beautiful and atmospheric - the obvious impact that the gorgious light has on the scene is backed up by a strong composition. Maybe removing a little from the top of the shot strengthens the image even more?
Just out of interest, how much post processing has gone into bringing out the luminance and colour in the image?
Cheers,
Chris

A lot Chris lol, the RAWs from my camera always look flat and lifeless so I have to gently coax out the colours (with a baseball bat)
This was all from one RAW file processed just the once.

Beautiful sunset image, I really like the composition here combined with the lovely colours here ofc I would not change anything!

Beautiful and the colours reflected on the rock are great

Geoffrey, I must admit that this looks a little bit too HDRy for my tastes. I know these images are all the rage at the moment but I am not always that big a fan of them. I know others will disagree. Sorry, Andre

Thanks everyone
No need to be sorry Andrew, that's the beauty of our hobby, we all like different things, the galleries would be soooo boring if we all took the same stuff.
It's not HDR though, I've just accentuated what was there in the one RAW file.
I was just trying to do something different that's all.
Geoff.

I hate HDR with a capital 'H', but this doesn't look like HDR, to me anyway, and I like it. I'm not sure about the vignetting though, and I wonder a one stopper would have worked better here as the top seems to be darker than the details in the foreground. I'm being super critical here, but what else can one do with a quality shot?
Best regards,
Des

Im afraid as photographers with 35mm we have to blend or double process to get the best out of the RAW files. On medium format or large format you would get the data out without the requirement for this (quite an eye opener). I certainly don't think it looks like a HDR, more of a blend which would match up with the use of ND grads which have been used for years!
Geoffrey looks pretty good - prefer it to the last one. Nice!
