Roadrunner close-up
Yet another roadrunner photo. I took this today, and the roadrunner was so laid back that I spent at least 20 minutes watching the bird at a distance of about 10 feet :).

Cool shot. I love all the detail in the feathers. That's really neat you were able to get so close for such a long period of time. But I must say - this bird looks NOTHING like the Warner Bros. Roadrunner :wink: BEEP! BEEP!!

Really, really nice detail Rob. I continue to be amazed at the roadrunner shots you've been able to get. I consider myself lucky just to see one scooting into the brush and out of sight. Great photograph!

Thanks folks. The roadrunners went AWOL right after I took this photo, but it has been an interesting summer photographing the roadrunners.
