A little something...
...from my out of state trip to Yellowstone and Jackson Hole. Grand country, lots to shoot if you haven't been there. We spent 3 days in Jackson and this was the best morning weather of the 3 days, sun peaking in and out of the cloud cover, then some "typical" heavy thunder storm activity for half hour or so, then some sun again. Had a wonderful time.

Looks nice, Reno! The detail is excellent and I like the color contrasts all the way around. Sure is some nice light!

I never get tired of this scenery, Reno. The fence in the FG shows some great weathering and vintage detail. I know there are several buck and rail fences scattered throughout the valley area around Grand Teton N.P. too. The very tops of the trees cutting through the field in the BG is of course the line of the Snake River also. Truly a photogs paradise up there.
Has to be one of the best back drops ever for the entire movie "Shane". From this angle this might be near the Moulton Barn and the corral surrounding that area.
Next to Zion I would think this park maybe the most I've visited outside of our own N.P.s here in Calif. over the years.

Reno,
Sounds like you had a great trip. This image is very pleasing. Good colors, nice composition and great light. I like it! Its interesting to see this place in late summer, with the dry grasses. Some how I don't think of it that way. Its a bit of a different take. Best Regards.

Reno, nice little rural scene, with a killer backdrop. Nice to have a dramatic sky for the image, too.

Reno,

Like Paul B, "Shane!" comes to mind. Great take away from what looks like Mormon Row area. Can't go wrong with that backdrop. No doubt you had a great trip.

Thanks everyone for your comments, and yes, this is the far north end of Mormon Row.
