The day I've dreaded seems to be fast approaching. I drove all over the south end today looking for ink for my venerable old Epson 1280. Went to 6 stores that sell computer supplies and found 1 supply of color ink and 1 supply of b&w ink. I'm sure it's available online so...where do you guys order ink from?

Bill, I still have the 1280 too, and the past couple years have been buying from Cartridge World. I still get the Epson brand from them, haven't been brave enough to try refilled ones they have that are supposed to be compatible. Good luck!

Try MIS inks.

Bill, I work for Microcenter and if these are the right numbers my store has several of each in stock.

T009201 color cartridge.....7 in stock at $32.95
T007201 Black Cartridge....12 in stock at $24.95

Hope that helps.

Atlex.com stocks both cartridges and they are only $19.04 for Black and $23.05 for Color. There is no sales tax and shipping costs are low. Since they usually ship from a Denver warehouse, I usually receive my order in only a day or two. I use them all of the time for my ink and paper.

Another vote for Atlex. Also, check IT Supplies. They bought Atlex, but they maintain separate sites and sometimes compete on price.
