Hi everyone.
This is my first upload to this website. I'm hoping to gain some valuable feedback on my wildlife photos from some of the fantastic photographers that use this site, and hopefully give something back and become part of this great community.
I'm a keen wildlife enthusiast who is looking to further improve and gain a better understanding of how to take great wildlife images, so feel free to lay the boot in where required
I have watched from afar for about 2 years and thought it was time to finally add my two penny worth
To kick off with and as the deer rut is just round the corner, I thought I'd upload this stag image.
I like the aggresive posture of this dominant stag. He was patrolling his harem of females and seeing off all takers.

Hi Lee
Welcome to the forum
The only nit for me is 'virtual feet' - he's a wee bit tight to the lower frame edge so you've basically cut his feet off.
Because of the blurred foreground you could extend the canvass down a bit and then clone or 'content aware fill' the new canvas to give him enough room.
Other than that it's a nice comp, well exposed and looks well processed too
Looking forward to seeing more

Welcome Lee.
He certainly is a fine looking beast - the next challenge will be to get him on a misty morning with a golden sunrise.....

Thanks Graham, have a few in the mist and in the golden light in the bag, but hope to capture some more this year.

Aside from the very minor nit that Andy's highlighted, a mighty fine image. Looking forward to more.

Welcome to the forum Lee, I'm relatively new here myself and I'm finding it a very friendly and helpful place.
I agree with Andy about the feet, a minor fault that can easily be rectified.
A great first post, looking forward to seeing more
Geoff.
