Hermaness
Hi,

Thought I'd better post one of mine as well. We camped up on Hermaness for a few nights and as we found the weather was extremely changeable.

This is one of my personal favorites from the trip, after a thick sea mist had shrouded this Gannet colony, the sun spotlit part of it for only a few seconds.

Techs:

D2X, 17-50MM AT 46MM, 100th at F4, iso 640, tripod.

C and C welcome.

Kind Regards,

Chris. :wavey:

A lovely landscape/wildlife combo
Incredible how they manage to settle down on such steep cliffs.
Well done.

You've really captured the atmosphere of a an active seabird colony. I bet this shot is even more impressive viewed large.

excellent shot i didn't get any like that, great contrast between the front fully lit cliff and the one behind, i think i prefered the one you had with the mist at the top though
