I was reading an article by RC Concepcion and he was touting the sharpening and noise reduction feature of LR 3 but he said the feature was only half finished and how it would be even better once it was completely finished. I am wondering if I should go ahead and purchase LR 3 and hope for an upgrade when it is finished or should I wait until I read somewhere that the feature is fully functional and purchase it then.I have no idea so someone with more digital skills than I please advise. Thanks in advance. Ray Dove
Half finished? I don't get it, Lightroom 3 is out and the noise reduction is the best I've seen so far.

The noise reduction feature in LR3 is one of the main reasons to upgrade.

In LR2 I would move the slider and think what noise reduction! LR3 is heads and tails better!

There are people out there that did not get the MEMO! Ray LR3 is worth upgrading. You will not be disappointed. Trust Me!

I was never able to find the date on the article, so it's possible the statement referred to the Beta version of LR3. At any rate I plan to purchase it and I'm sure any improvements will be available as an update. Thanks to all who replied to my query. Ray
