FINALLY!!!! After many trips to RMNP, I found not only one Bull Moose, but 2 in the same day!
The first one was a young male still shedding his velvet

You DID find moose. #2 is my fav.
I saw no moose today, found a small harem with a good sized bull, and spent some time with pikas.

These are great shots Kurt, I like #2 the best!. I have only ever seen Moose once in RMNP too, this year too at Sprague Lake!.

I lean toward #3 - I just think the composition and wonderful light do it for me by a notch over #2 although background is a bit better on 2. But sweet all around! And it looks like fall, too! You shoot these near Moose?

Congratulations!!
I like 'em all, but #2 is slightly better. Great job in capturing these majestic animals!

Hey Kurt - great job with the moose! I like #3 with the good light. I'm sure the Elk shots will follow soon.

Nice stuff. As others said, #2 is a very nice capture. Maybe a little dodge/burn near the cheek/jaw line to help pull out the jawline?

Great shots Kurt. I really need to process my moose shots. I ran into multiple bulls three straight weeks in a row back in June.

Great stuff again, Kurt! I also like #2 the best, but all are done very well. That second moose is a monster!

I like #2 due to his attentive look and ear positioning, but would have chosen #3 except for the green browse in front of his nose and the rear-racing right ear. Looks like you were able to get relatively close to the second bull.
