I like your idea here. I posted a similar image a while ago also. I'm wondering if you should have included the whole mossy tree and panned up to exclude the ferns. The tree is pretty interesting and that's where the attention should be.

Nice Cliff. Our woods are so beautiful, yet so chaotic that it's hard to distill a coherent scene. I think this one does a good job. One of my goals for next spring is to try and work forest scenes more.

I like it Cliff. The scene is chaotic, but still balanced at the same time.
