Hey guys just a report from Estes area. Notices an aspen grove on mountain close to Twin Sisters and they are about 10% gold and the ones next to my house in Carriage Hills are about the same. Tomorrow I am going over TR to Grand Lake and will try and post a report about what and where I saw tomorrow night.
Came over TR Sunday, Agree that Aspen are about 10%. Moose and Big Horns in all the usual places. Will post a couple of images later today. Watch for a porkupine that likes to walk in the road a little below tree line on the west side. Unfortunatley no pull-off, thus no photo.

I've heard a lot of the pine trees, especially on the west side, have already turned to a deep reddish brown.
@Todd wait a couple years and they should hit their peak

Was in Estes yesterday. Driving back on 72 the colors were looking good between Nederland and Central City. Should be better by the weekend. Beautiful Drive and the pines are green.
