My publisher has authorized me to give away free copies of my Lightroom 3 book to RMNP members!
All you need to do to get your free copy is write a review of the book (when you're done reading it) and post the review on Amazon.com (or other web site of your choice).
To get your free book, email me your name, address and phone number. (No PO boxes; must be able to accept UPS or FedEx.) Your information will only be used to ship your book, and will be kept confidential.
**Do not reply with your personal info on this thread; send it to me personally.
I need to have your shipping info by end of day Wednesday September 22, and you must write your review by Oct 31.
If you use and/or want to learn Lightroom, this is the book for you! I look forward to reading your reviews.
Thanks!

Really a Generous Offer, Nat. To bad for me, I already purchased it weeks ago! Now I'm ready to jump into Lightroom, if I could just find the time!

Thanks, everybody! So far the response has been fantastic.
As stated in my original post, to get a free book you must write a review and post it online, preferably at Amazon.com... and you'll need to read and review the book by Oct 31. (I guess in this way, it's not really "free" since you have to work for it ;-) ... I'll be following up to confirm the reviews, so if you can't or don't want to do this, please let me know ASAP.)
So far I have 31 people signed up. I have submitted the entries to the publisher and the books should start shipping out next week.
Thank you! I look forward to reading your reviews.

Thanks again Nat. Would you have any objection to having a review of the book posted on my blog as well?

Thanks, Nat!! Looking forward to it!

Thanks for the replies. Bill - A review posted on your blog would be great!

Just a reminder that if you're participating in my Lightroom book giveaway that your Amazon review is due Sunday Oct 31. Everyone should have received their copies several weeks ago; let me know right away if you haven't received yours. Email me if you have any questions.
I look forward to your reviews. Thanks!

I have to admit that I'm more than a little disappointed in how this has turned out. I shipped 27 free books and received only 6 reviews. What gives?
Naturally, I expected that not everyone would live up to their commitment, but this is a real surprise coming from this group.
Please help me understand this. I want to help people learn to use Lightroom effectively, and I'm trying to do this, in part, with my book.
If you didn't have time to read it, please tell me. If you didn't like it, please tell me.
I can't just randomly give away free books into a void. I thought this would be a win-win for everybody, but based on the results I don't expect my publisher will allow me to do this again.

Sorry to hear about this Nat. Step up people!!! This was a unique offer.
I somehow missed this original thread ... just bought the new version last week Nat, and will certainly add my review soon.

Hey Nat, Sorry I posted my review late. I have been wrapped up in work a lot lately that I hadn't gotten very far in the book until last week. I have to say, I think this book is better written and easier to read than your last one, and I thought the last one was great!
Just saw your post Nat, and checked for my review on Amazon. It's not there! I'm going to check with Amazon as I've had other reviews not show up for a couple weeks or not at all. If they don't have it, don't worry, I'll write you up another glowing review . Anyone other sites you would want it submitted to?
