I lived for about 10 years in the Upper James River Valley east of Springfield, MO. Here's a sunset from my back porch with my favorite walnut tree in the foreground.

Barry, I'm not sure, but the blue channel looks a little too saturated on my monitor. That can be fixed pretty easily though.

Thanks, Bill. I'll take a look at that and re-post. I don't have a calibrated monitor and am guessing sometimes. I appreciate your comment.

Let's try this one. Do the blues look better in this? Thanks again for your comments.

This version does look better. However, one of the best investments you could make would be to purchase a calibration/profiling package for your monitor. Most of your images look fine on your website, so I'm not sure what's going on with this one.

Any recommendations on a calibration package? Thanks.

I like the X-Rite Eye-One Display 2 . Note that Chromix will match prices with anyone, so you can't do much better than that pricewise. Pat is very knowledgable about color management, and is a great resource for information. And their Color Valet media profiling service is unsurpassed, in my opinion - especially for canvas.

Thanks, Bill. I'll check that out. Just been putting off getting a system, but I think it's time.
