Although I typically prefer to avoid touristy areas such as this, for lack of a better option / better weather, I decided to drive out to this location for a shoot this weekend. Like some other shoots, it is the standard view that everyone has seen. Due to the newly constructed pathway, there really is not many options for unique compositions. The place is certainly beautiful, but if you go you better go early and avoid the crowds. I had an hour up there by myself before anyone showed up. Cheers!

Very pretty shot of Hanging Lake, Koveh! Looks a little soft/blurry, dont know if that's intentional or not but i think id prefer it sharp

That's one of the more artistic renderings of this place I have ever seen. Superb image!

Thank you Morris, you are always too kind.
Stan, the effect was on purpose, to give it a bit more of a different / artistic feel. Otherwise I felt there really was no way to distinguish this shot from any others. Thanks for the feedback, I always appreciate it.

Here is another shot from the nearby Spouting Rock.

Kovah, if you're trying to connect to people that have been there, or people that are tired of the Hanging Lake idea, then I understand the artistic classical soft rendering. Something different for them. However, I've never been there and would love to see the focused/clean image. Seems like this is just one of those places that every landscaper needs a good photo. It's beautiful comp and I love your color.

Your spouting rock composition delivers a nice clean simple view of an undershot area (in comparison to the bottom "lake")

I really like both of these, but the soft look in #1 really works for me. Beautiful image, Koveh.

Have to say I like it as is. Well done.

I like the artistic effect in #1, great shot. I've been meaning to get up there but it's not high on my list since it's similar to Hocking Hills in Ohio and I shot that to death.
