While rummaging thru my hardrive lookihg for a suitably weird photo for the Weekly Challenge this week, i came across a couple RAWs that i had never processed before, so i gave them a quick workup. Here's one from my first fall trip in CO, a hike up to Blue Lakes and Sneffels about 5 years ago...

That's cool, Stan. Back off some of the deep-space blue in the sky and it'll be perfect.

That's an excellent comp, Stan! You handled the strong light really well, too. The polarizer looks a little pronounced, but the skies are so deep at that altitude, it's probably not that far off.

Yup, that's a keeper!

I agree with Todd. Excellent shot, just back off the blues in the sky and you got yourself a keeper my friend.

this really gives you a feeling of fresh alpine air - I like it, Stan. I agree the blue is a little too deep for my tastes, and the sky could use some noise redux

The tundra orange is quite different from the summer photos that were posted. Stands out well along the snow. Looks like it was a crisp day there. Along with the blue reduction, maybe also crop some of the blue sky.

Really enjoy most of your posts, but this one seems very ordinary to me.

Stan, I'm with the others about backing off the sky color a bit, and there appears to be some artifacting in the sky. But, aside from that, I'm looking at this image on my large screen TV and Wow! I really like it!
