Just a reminder that the Pikes Peak Highway will be opening at 5:30am on September 26th for those wanting to get some sunrise/early morning photos from your favorite place on the Peak.

Unfortunately, I'll be away for this one...
I was able to get a good view of some of the east face of Pikes Peak from nearby Mt Garfield yesterday, and there are some very nice wide swatches of color at the lower elevations.

I was unfortunately away for both openings. Hopefully someone was able to do good with this one.
