Taken at Rest Bay, Porthcawl, South Wales, UK.
Whenever I'm browsing through the images on my hard drive I find myself pausing at this one, so I guess that means I must like it right?
I processed this one evening when I must have been having a "Picasso moment"
I realise it won't be to everyone's taste but I just have to process my images in a way that seems right to me at the time, it's all about expression I guess, I'm not usually a very artistic person but I do have my moments
Minolta Dynax 7D
Sigma 10-20 EX
1.3 seconds
f22
ISO 100
10mm
-0.3 stop exposure compensation
Centre-weighted metering
Tripod
Probably used a ND grad but was taken a few years ago so can't remember

Hello Geoff.
Beautiful seascape and an excellent composition I like this a lot.
I would just increase the contrast a little to give this some more punch.

Thats an excellent piece of photography, Geoffrey.
The image has some very nice elements, the beautiful sunset, the milky sea and a very interesting foreground with the glass like rocks.
Does the Dynax have a cropped sensor?

Thanks everyone
Paul, it was taken at Rest Bay, just in front of the rest home.
Andy, yes, it had a 1.5x crop sensor but only 6.3 megapixels, it died about 2.5 years ago when I dropped it, I have a Sony A350 now which is an entry level camera, I'm planning to upgrade soon to a "Big Boy's camera"
