Cedar Falls

Cedar Falls, one of the most beautiful places in Illinois, is located on a Catholic summer camp right on the edge of the Shawnee National Forest.

The family and I were in Shawnee Nat'l Forest the first part of Aug. We have friends in Vienna and Gorville that we went to visit. It was just too darned hot to do much of anything this year. Due to illness I only got a few shots and none were this spectacular. Nice work.

Lou, hope you can make it down again during fall or spring when the temps are nice and the forest is more conducive to photography

That's an interesting perspective. I'm wondering about a hair less on the right of the frame.

The inclusion of the second image was helpful as the scale isn't obvious at all in the original.
