Early morning Highland Cow
When Barry S. and i where at my Roe deer site we also came across a couple of Highland Cows in early morning fog with the rising sun behind them.

Here's one of the images we took during that morning.

greetings,

Superb light Jeroen, the mist and fog really adds to the image. Do you have one where the cow's in a slightly different pose? I think the head position in this one makes the silhouette a little less distinguishable.

Hi Des,

I was in doubt wether to post this one for exactly that reason. On the other hand that's what this forum is meant for when you doubt images it's best to post and see what people's reactions are.

I will post a more distinguishable one down here to see wich one has preference.

Thanks for your comment!

greetings,

Agree with above Jeroen, lovely concept, beautiful light would be great to see the head/horns in silhouette :toast: :toast: :toast:

I prefer the first image Jeroen. Lovely lighting and very atmospheric. Like the almost sepia colouring.

I think the stretching pose do look stronger between the two Jeroen. Maybe I'm just not used to the outline of this beast!

Cheers,
