Don't get me wrong....I love wild boar but sometimes they drive me mad. I'm photographing them for a long long time so you would think you know these buggers. Well....I don't. This female always comes from the left of my self build hide. No exceptions. This time wind from the west so I move my hide to avoid them smelling me. Well, guess where she's coming from this time. Yup, from my right!!! Head in the air, a big sniff, camera click and gone with the wind. WOMEN!!!!!!

Lol, never work with animals they say
A great shot Edwin.
Well captured.
You have still ended up with a great shot. Love the way she is looking straight into the lens. The soft OOF foreground and background works beautifully. Edwin it would be a boring life if women always did what you expected them to do

Superb boar capture Edwin. Really like the eye contact in this shot. For me I would of preferred less out of focus foreground infront of the animal or an even spread across the bottom of the frame to give it more balance, though I'm aware you take what you can get with these type of shots. Still a great shot though

Edwin your boar shots drive ME crazy, either mine have horrible backgrounds or the light is too harsh (or it is too dark!). You are master at these and your patience paid off once again!

Lovely setting but just wonder if it is a little tight in the frame,Edwin.

Hi Edwin
Nice setting, soft light and eye contact although I agree with Phil that it is a little tight in the frame.

So she ran off - and who could blame her; I would too
For me I'd just like a bit more space left and above - other than that it's a 'belter' Ed, looking forward to all the 'stunners' you're bound to get.
