Just recently joined. Home is Denver. I'm 65 and have been photographing since I was about 14 years old (just as a hobby and as a way to justify aquiring more toys).
Mostly interested in wildlife photography. Hike and snowshoe. Have made many trips to Yellowstone, summer and winter. Locally like to spend time in RMNP.
Would enjoy company for some of my excursions. Work 3 days a week and have accumulated vacation time.
Yes, I'm the one that follows Rich around picking up his left behind equipment. Too bad he's Cannon and I'm Nikon.

Canon gear usually has a high resale value, so next time you shouldn't be so nice to Rich.
I'm sure he has insurance coverage.

Speaking of losing gear - I also the week afterwards lost my Acratech head and a Canon S90 - both of which Bill B found for me. I seem to be losing gear everyplace.
Someone needs to start charging Rich for his lost gear! I have a feeling he's just too lazy to carry it himself and hopes an honest person stumbles upon it

Rich- perhaps you need a leash for your gear or maybe those tags you attach to keys with an alarm. Then all you have to do is click and search! Key Alarm

Welcome Bruce. I can confirm that at this time there is no truth to the rumor that we are taking up a collection to have Rich's gear bag surgically attached to his shoulder. (But it may be worthy of consideration if the trend continues. Now if only he'd leave that Nodal Ninja doohickey somewhere.....)
