Not sure if it happened last week, but I've talked to Phil and we're planning on meeting at the Japanese Gardens at 9am on Saturday. Any and all are welcome to come along and look for cherry blossoms with us.

I'm bringing my 5 year old daughter with me - she wants to take pictures too.

I'd love to join you but it's just too far for this weekend. Have fun. Please post some images.

John,
Sorry I can't make it. I have never shot at the Japenese Gardens before. It's our 4th anniversary weekend so I'm pretty much all tied up. I think I recall from last year if you call and ask for permission, they willl let you in before hours.

Have a most excellent weekend, Erik. We're heading towards #12 and #16 since we met !

Hi John,

I might be thinking of Sunday AM like I did last weekend. The cherry blossoms do look good there right now, but I'm wondering about the ones along the waterfront. And please someone be ready to catch the hummingbird feeding on the blossoms near the waterfall! Tim and I weren't so lucky.

The biggest factor for me would be if my new CPL filter comes in time - I broke the other one last weekend just 5 minutes in. Tim, Dave, and Ned all saw it drop :frown:

Unless you are a member, the garden opens at 10 AM. Members may come in at 8 AM.

Kevin
