Good and funny stuff, except for the girl getting mauled by the bear.

Nature photography is easy. You just walk up and push the cute little button on the top of your expensive camera and you have a winner! At least that's what a lot of people I speak with think.
Hali - Is she really getting mauled? I wasn't sure.. There seems to be blood on her sleeve, but she is also lying comfortably on her back (as opposed to balled up and protecting face) and does not have a distressed look on her face..
And who would take a photo of someone getting mauled instead of going to help?
Maybe this is posed with a trained bear?

The polar bear mauling that lady happened in a zoo in Germany last year, after she jumped into the enclosure.
Unfortunately Darwin did not prevail and she wasn't seriously injured.
I go to Brazos Bend State Park all the time ...one of the paths is verry narrow! Every once in a while, the path is blocked by gators...and once I ALMOST had it blocked BOTH WAYS. I keep the park ranger station on speeddial!!!
.I am very careful, but these guys are excellent at coming out of the water just as you are walking by...But what I am most afraid of are the wild hogs!!!!!!!!!! You see "sign" of them rooting around all over the park. I don't want to get close enough to them ..even with a telephoto. So, I am very familiar with the "real" dangers. I just thought these were funny (except for the bear!)
