Hello Everyone,

My wife and I are purchasing a new home and she has expressed interest in a high quality photo of a Barn Owl, from myself. I also have an interest in wildlife and birds for photographic purposes, however, I have only been able to sight Great Horned Owls so far this year. So, I am wondering if anyone has observed any Barn Owl's in Colorado lately, preferably East of the Rocky Mountains, as I live in Pueblo.

Thanks in advance for any help..

You might also get some great responses if you post this in the Rocky Mountain Forum - good luck. Robbie

Keith, barn owls live in Colorado as far north as Boulder and are progressing northwards each year so they are there, I've seen them on the front range in Longmont but am not up to date with the latest sightings. One tip I'd give is to join the local Audubon and work with them and they'll help you find the birds.
