I used to take a lot of stuff on a mamiya 645 film camera with a 35 mm wide angle. I have digitised the trannies.
I now want to re shoot some of the same scenes for a dissolve programme.
Question- what is the equivalent lens Focal length lens on the D200 ?

John,

A 35mm on a 645 is equivalent to 21mm full frame 35mm camera, but because the d200 is a 1.5 crop you would need a 14mm lens on it to see the same image in the viewfinder as the 35/645 from the same position.

Tom

I can manage 18 mm so it won't be that far off .
Thanks for that.
