I had a great time with Mike, Karla and Ken this weekend. Sorry I didn't hang around long Ken. Mike and Karla thanks for being my dutch oven pot roast guinea pigs. This is one of my favorite shots right now. It might be a little on the cool side, but it was really early in the morning.

Here is one from up top Sunday morning.

and here is one at night with the moon lighting up the bluff

Matthew, I'm sure glad you guys all met up at Roark! Like Ken's image, your's gives such a feeling of peace and "all's right with the world". That's much needed in our hurried up, stressful world. Thanks for making the planet a little better place.

It really amazes me that a half moon will create this much light. I like both images. Just like always- Four photogs- four different ideas for images.

You did the right thing by staying along the river while Ken, Karla and I set up on the cloudy bluff. We couldn't see anything worth while until you showed up later in the morning.

You can bring the dutch oven along anytime!

Nice work Matthew, my favorite is the one in this post.

Another nice one. Boy, I'd really think about this one as a b+w image.

Looks great. I really like the other shot from up higher as well.

The dutch oven rocked! We had a great time hanging out with you guys. I think Aaron's first camping trip was a success! Of course, I'm a little disgusted with the abundance of chiggers I apparently picked up wading through all the weeds! The price you pay....I love all your shots Matt, especially the night one.

Those are all nice, Matt, but I think I like the post here the most. There's just something about those submerged rocks that I've always liked.

Darren I think black and white on this one is a great idea. I'll have to work one up. I was looking earlier and I have an almost identical image that has a better reflection without those little ripples.

Bill I love clear water that shows the rocks as well. That is something that we didn't get to see much of last fall.

Matt, that looks like the exact spot where Karla and I ended up getting our best shots later on in the morning. Sorry I missed out on the moonlight shots, I was kind of looking forward to that. Your shot looks about like what I was hoping to get. Nice job.
