Ohanapecosh
Taken in August, a short ways above Silver Falls.

Canon 50D, 10-22mm at 13mm, ISO 100, 4 sec at f/22

Surprised there's not more comments. The foreground really pulls the eye into the rest of the image. I think it's excellent with the emerald colored water with the swirls of white. On my Mac-Book pro the highlights seem blown?

Hi, Joe. Can't get enough views of the Ohanapecosh River, and this one is great. Love all that gorgeous water up front; nice swirls in there for indicating movement and it lends a graceful element to the comp. The whitewater in the bg does look hot. Here's where a layer mask really helps to tone that down. Wonderful image, just the same.

Thanks for the comments Erik and Catherine. I know the highlights seem blown out, but based on the histogram in LR, they are not totally blown. This was only processed in LR; when I have a chance to take it to PS, I'll tone them down some more.

Nice shot Joe. I really like your composition here with the "S" curve of the water. The green colored water is beautiful. Reminds me of Opal Creek here in Oregon.

Amazing color to the water, I love the water movement in the center left portion. The highlights do look a little blown but as you said you should be able to tone them down.

I like this one, Joe. It pulls me in nicely. I like the swirl and how the lines draw me into the left side and the fall. Well done.
