Could anyone help with the identification of this Dragonfly. It was photographed in Northern Cyprus, a week ago.

Possibly A Black Darter??? A nice image, the head area looks a liitle soft to me though. A bit of USM maybe?

Black Darter is a widespread species and well documented in books, I see the similarity but can't reconcile the white markings. Am I missing something?

Possible "Slender Skimmer" Orthetrum sabina Location range fits and white markings are spot on.
