Still trying to figure out this night photography.
This image was made on the shore of Maggie Lake in the Golden Trout Wilderness. It's nine miles to reach the lake, then nine miles back out. I'm getting to old for these short over nighters...I need a layover day!
Michael, as I've never shot any night images at all I'm not sure what to expect per se. I really like the scene, although the sky seems very bright compared to the lower land mass and lake. Maybe an ND filter would have helped balance the light a bit more? Again, I would be experimenting with that idea myself out there too.

I've never tried this type of photography, Michael. You certainly
went the extra mile--or should I say nine--to pull it off. Thanks for
sharing. It's pretty.

Michael,
Chalk up another opinion from someone who can't provide much help with the night time photography!
But I can say it is hard to judge the noise, sharpness and the stars at this size. The sky is a bit bright relative to the landscape. Probably a great opportunity for a two exposure blend. As is, I would consider cropping much of the lake because the reflection just doesn't stand out well enough. Perhaps some noise reduction and a little tweaking of the sky and this should work out pretty well.
BTW, this is a very nice capture of the Milky Way - work the processing and make it stand out even more.
