A panoramic join of three images, but compositionally I have chosen this time to keep more sky (so it is really a sky scape) as this is where the inherent beauty was for me...luckily a small rainbow formed underneath the lower cloud.
This is a view into Coigach-Assynt from higher up on the North West Coast (I think the small peak on the left is Stac Pollaidh) on a mid May evening.

Looks good Ian. And although I appreciate where you're coming from with this shot, I think just a tiny bit more land would add more balance to the image, without diminishing the effect of the sky. This is just a personal preference/opinion, and I'm no expert at land/sky-scape! Still like the beautiful atmosphere you've capture here.

While I kind of agree with Des about more land, the more I look at the shot the more effective it becomes. Seen large, I'm sure that beautiful light comes into its own.
A tad more more land would balance, what is a super image of a stunnig sky. But sometimes beauty may be in the eye of the beholder.

A superb sky with beautiful colours and the rainbow is a bonus but I'm inclined to agree that a little more land (or would that perhaps be sea?) along the bottom edge might improve the balance of what is already an excellent image

Cheers,

A bit more land would be better IMO but it looks good as it is.
Well done.
