This has become one of my favorite images of mine, I completely skipped over it the first few times I went through these files. This is a reworked version I did for a client who liked this version incorperating more sky than my old version; I think both are good for different reasons. I also burned in the sky a bit more, the client loved it.
This is blend of two exposures.

It's beautiful. I can see why the client loved it. It's has lots of drama.

This is already among the best Rainier pics I've ever seen (two are yours) and the rework, while not necessary IMO, works just as well. The sky does seem to have a bit more drama in this version...have you considered a little crop off the top? I can't tell you how much time I've spent in the meadow without seeing clouds like that! This is a world-class outstanding shot Zack.

I agree, this is a stunner Zack! Those clouds are killer, and just adds to the perfectly balanced, lots of stuff to look at without being too busy, scene.
Nice job...
what trail is this on?

Jeez Louise, Zack! You got to whole nine yards in this one!

OK, thanks Marc! I thought I remembered this view/angle from last year when I went there (actually, I didn't go up this far, the light got too harsh, and I turned around).

Here is a version with a small crop from the top, this is very close to the first one I worked from here.

Zack, both are wonderful and the second tops the two IMO. The scene is powerful, serene, tranquil and overwhelming with massive depth. There is alot to view an dall of it is awesome. Great job on this image.
