Please make sure to check out the rules to find out what images are eligible for submission.
I haven't heard any reason to change the rules so they are staying the same as last year. However, because of the new rules regarding site membership seen here, this contest may only be open to Registered users until November 1, 2010. After that only members will be able to access the site and contest page.
Please let me know if you think we should amend the rules to make it so only members can participate this year or if we should just leave it as is while we can.
** NOTE ** The voting screens are up but they are not enabled. I am waiting on some image re-submissions and any last minute arrivals.

Do not include a copyright on your image - all images will be posted anonymously!
Kinda hard for this rule to apply when people keep posting their contest images in other threads/galleries on this site.
In years past, I think everyone has taken this rule to mean that you keep your best fall stuff under covers until the contest.

I used to adhere to that rule--in fact i even complained about all the posts elsewhere a couple of times. But then i came to the realization that the interest in getting photos out publically as soon as theyre taken outweighs the (albeit very highly valued) interest in winning this contest, or more realistically, getting an 'honorable mention' So, now i just ignore the poster and judge on the merits--i get a lot of practice each week doing this with my gallery picks, so its not that tough really. Some really great shots so far--its going to be tough to get it down to 3!!

Ugh! Only a few hours until the deadline and there is still fall color to shoot here in the Southwest...at least in Zion.

Hey Jim, sent you an email a couple days ago about paying for submissions some other way than paypal (I don't have a paypal account). Any way to do this? Thanks.

To those of you who have submitted images lately, don't fret! I am in the process of posting them all! Thanks for your patience.

Same here - blank page. Was looking forward to taking a look after Todd's post!

I thought I was the only one with this problem after reading the string of glowing reviews! I have the same blank page in IE8 and Firefox. It's not that it's hanging - the browser just loads a blank page and stops.

I am trying to figure out what I broke. It should hopefully be up and running soon. Thanks for your patience.
